STUDENT AMBASSADOR FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER 2013

I relish being supportive to fellow students, especially the junior ones. I strongly believe that channelizing somebody in his future pursuits is a wonderful thing, and timely guidance can make the desired fields accessible. I took my oath for NCUK Ambassadorship with the same zest. I belong to a remote area of Chitral, where students always suffer due to lack of information. I am now very actively imparting information about NCUK pathways, which can lead students to top notch UK universities. So far I have conducted successful awareness seminars in two high schools of Chitral.

STUDENT AMBASSADOR FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST 2013

Since I took an oath as a Student Ambassador of NCUK Lahore, I have been spreading the word about NCUK and its mode of operation. Moreover, I have been trying to find and persuade students to avail this brilliant opportunity of completing their undergraduate degree in one of the top universities in the UK. I am proud to be a part of NCUK Lahore and I will try my best to keep working hard and making students aware of how NCUK can enhance their future prospects.

TESTIMONIAL BY BRAND AMBASSADOR 2013

When I look back to the summer of 2013 I recall a place where ideas were born, encouraged and implemented. It wasn’t only a place for theoretical discussions but a hub for practical experience with a bunch of 18 best interns!

Giving up your morning sleep during summer vacations isn’t easy, but today I think it was the passion that was born in all of us because of NCUK - its environment and its encapsulating culture. At a personal level, this internship brought in me creativity and the drive to set up ideas because it was my boss who taught me lateral thinking. NCUK altered my perception of an employee and employer relationship. It taught me the democratic style of leadership that creates a comfortable environment for everyone around. It was a platform for learning where interaction resulted in the creation of best ideas.

From sitting in a small room with 18-20 minds to organizing events as remarkable as ‘NCUK Student Ambassadors Oath taking Ceremony’, if today I question myself as to how it was possible in a short span of time the only answer I can agree upon is ‘the spirit of motivation’. NCUK soon looked like a second home to me where appreciation was the key to success.

You realize the significance of something when it’s over. Right was the one who taught me this. Today, when I sit in the classrooms of my university, I realize what I’ve learned and from where. Past two months have taught me communication skills, the ability to present and to think differently. The confidence through which I deliver my words today was born in me because of people who taught me at NCUK.

“It is only when we look beyond our set horizons and aim for the zenith that our dreams of success come to life.’’ I’m very grateful to NCUK and the family I have made from being a part of this internship.

It was without any doubt the best of my experiences so far!
